The Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology (FIET) at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) warmly welcomes international students from around the world who wish to pursue their academic studies in Thailand.

Programs for International Students
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must meet the academic qualifications and language proficiency requirements set by the university and the respective program.
General requirements include:
- A relevant bachelor’s degree for Master’s programs
- A relevant master’s degree for Doctoral programs
- Academic transcripts and certificates of graduation
- Proof of English language proficiency (such as TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent)
- Statement of purpose or research proposal (for graduate programs)
- Letters of recommendation (if required)

REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Applicants are required to submit the following documents during the application process:
- Official academic transcripts
- Certificate of graduation or degree certificate
- English proficiency test results (if applicable)
- Copy of passport
- Recent photograph
- Statement of purpose or research proposal
- Letters of recommendation (if required)
All documents must be submitted in English or accompanied by certified English translations.
APPLICATION PROCESS
International applicants are encouraged to submit their application through the university’s online application system.
The general application process includes:
- Complete the online application form
- Upload required documents
- Pay the application fee (if applicable)
- Wait for the review process by the program committee
- Receive admission results from the university
Successful applicants will receive an official admission letter from the university.
VISA AND IMMIGRATION INFORMATION
International students admitted to FIET must obtain a Non-Immigrant Education Visa (Non-ED Visa) to study in Thailand.
After receiving the admission letter, students will receive supporting documents from the university to apply for a student visa at the Royal Thai Embassy or Consulate in their home country.
Students are advised to ensure that their passport remains valid for the entire duration of their studies.
TUITION FEES AND SCHOLARSHIPS
Tuition fees vary depending on the academic program and duration of study. Detailed information regarding tuition fees is provided below:

Classes are conducted outside official working hours as follows:
- Saturday–Sunday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
- Monday–Friday: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Tuition Fees
Master’s and Doctoral Programs
- Tuition fee: 6,000 THB per credit
- Educational service fee: 20,000 THB per semester
Estimated Total Program Fee
- Master’s Degree: 40 credits, approximately 320,000 THB
- Doctoral Degree: 48 credits, approximately 408,000 THB
